Kathmandu-Nabil Bank Limited has been honored with three prestigious awards in Nepal's banking sector, reinforcing its commitment to financial transparency, corporate governance, and sustainability.

The bank secured the Gold Award for Private Sector Banks at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) Best Presented Annual Report (BPA) Awards for the third consecutive year.

In addition, Nabil Bank received Certificates of Merit for both the Corporate Governance Disclosure Award and the Sustainability Reporting Award—two new award categories introduced for the first time in the history of the BPA Awards.

With these achievements, Nabil Bank became the first bank to win all three honors simultaneously, including the Best Annual Report (Gold) Award for the third straight year.
The awards were presented during a ceremony held in Kathmandu on Tuesday, where ICAN Chairman CA Nil Bahadur Saru Magar handed over the honors to Nabil Bank Chief Executive Officer Manoj Kumar Gyawali and Chief Finance Officer Sandeep Babu Poudel.

The awards were based on the bank's annual report for the fiscal year 2025. According to ICAN, the selection criteria included financial transparency, accountability, corporate governance, and sustainability reporting, with Nabil Bank emerging as the top performer across all these areas.

Nabil Bank had previously won the Gold Award for its annual reports for fiscal years 2023 and 2024. Its latest award-winning annual report will also be nominated for the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Best Presented Annual Report (BPA) Awards, representing Nepal.
