Kathmandu-The state-owned Dairy Development Corporation (DDC) has paid Rs 120 million to dairy farmers who had not received payments for the past four months.

According to the DDC, the total outstanding dues amounted to Rs 580 million, of which Rs 120 million has now been cleared.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Environment said farmers are currently receiving around Rs 10 million daily following the implementation of the Dairy Development Corporation’s reform plan.
