Kathmandu- Leapmotor’s new electric SUV, the B10, has been previewed in the Nepali market. Shangrila Motors, the official distributor for Leapmotor in Nepal, soft-launched the model on Wednesday.

With an attractive design and cutting-edge features, the Leapmotor B10 will be officially launched on Shrawan 21 (August 6) at the NAIMA Mobility Expo 2025, which will take place at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. The company announced that the B10’s price will be revealed on the opening day of the expo, with sales starting immediately afterwards.

According to the company, the B10 is positioned as a premium electric SUV ideal for those seeking quality and comfort. It features a 67.1 kWh battery pack, certified by WLTP to deliver a range of 460 kilometres on a single full charge.

Another notable highlight of the B10 is its motor power. While most larger SUVs are typically equipped with motors around 100 kW, the B10 stands out with a 160 kW peak power motor, offering superior performance in its segment.

Leapmotor’s C10 electric SUV, also part of the Stellantis Group, has been available in Nepal for over a year and has achieved impressive sales in its category. The C10 also features the same 160 kW motor.

In terms of design, technology and performance, the Leapmotor B10 leads the pack, said Hemant Golchha, Director of Shangrila Motors.

'All the brands we have introduced so far have proven to be excellent. The C10 from Leapmotor has already demonstrated this,' he said. 'We are confident customers will appreciate the B10’s high quality and performance.'

Golchha added that the B10 is currently being previewed and will officially go on sale, complete with pricing, at the NAIMA Mobility Expo.

Shangrila Motors, part of the Golchha Organization, currently distributes European brands Peugeot, Citroën, and Leapmotor in Nepal. At the NADA Mobility Expo, vehicles from all three brands will be showcased.
