Kathmandu- Nepal ranked the seventh-best country in the world for solo adventure travel destinations for 2025.
Renowned UK-based travel platform Much Better Adventures has ranked Nepal among the world’s top 10 solo adventure travel destinations this year, highlighting Nepal's breathtaking landscapes, affordability, and unique cultural experiences.
Nepal secured the seventh spot on the list, which is based on safety, affordability, accessibility, and adventure options for solo travellers.
'Arriving into Nepal is a sensory overload, but you'll soon find that the welcoming nature of Nepalis makes this a fantastic place to travel solo,' the report stated.
It also praised Nepal for its world-renowned treks, including the Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Circuit, as well as jungle rafting and safaris in Chitwan National Park.
According to the travel platform, solo travellers also benefit from affordable prices, with average meals costing just £1.40 (approx. Rs 240) and easy access through visa-on-arrival or e-visa options for most nationalities.
Nepal also scored highly on safety, with a risk rating of 2.07 out of 5, placing it among the safest destinations on the list.
