Kathmandu-A private aircraft landed at Pokhara International Airport at 11:38 am on Monday after arriving from Dhaka, Bangladesh.
According to airport sources, only the pilot was on board the aircraft. The flight was authorised under a ferry flight permit, which allows an aircraft to be repositioned without carrying passengers or cargo.
Airport officials said the aircraft is scheduled to depart from Pokhara for Lahore, Pakistan.
The aircraft, bearing the US registration N555VG, has recently been operating across several Asian countries. According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), the aircraft is currently registered in Singapore.
Flight records show that the aircraft had been in Thailand before flying to Dhaka. However, the reason for its stopover in Pokhara has not been disclosed.
