Kathmandu-U.S.-based artificial intelligence company Veel has expanded its operations across Nepal and India, marking a significant milestone for the company and highlighting growing U.S.-Nepal collaboration in the technology and creative sectors.

According to a statement issued by the U.S. Embassy in Nepal, Chargé d’Affaires Scott Urbom joined the Veel team to celebrate the expansion. The company develops AI-powered tools that help brands and content creators design marketing campaigns, produce and manage content, and collaborate more efficiently. Veel also maintains a growing team of software developers in Kathmandu.

The embassy said Veel’s expansion comes at an important time for Nepal’s emerging creator economy and aligns with its efforts to help transform creative talent into economic opportunities. Through initiatives such as the U.S. Embassy Nepal’s Creators Mela, the embassy supports creators by helping them strengthen professional skills, connect with businesses, and build sustainable enterprises.

The statement added that, as the United States marks the 250th anniversary of its independence, it continues to promote the freedom to create, innovate, build, and compete.

The embassy described Veel as an example of how American enterprise and Nepali expertise can work together to generate jobs, strengthen commercial ties, expand digital trade, and create new opportunities for creators and businesses across the region.
