Kathmandu- Siddhartha Sumsher Rana is developing a 21-story premium apartment complex at Kalimati, Soltimode.
Through Tara Management Pvt. Ltd., the luxury apartment covering 15 ropanis of land. Designed for affluent business families, the project will feature five blocks with seven-room units, swimming pools, gardens, gyms, rooftop restaurants, and walking parks. The complex will include solar panels, ample parking, and alternative energy solutions, with an estimated investment of Rs 10-12 billion.
Rana, chairman of Sipradi Trading, is also prioritizing a luxury hotel project. His Suprabhya Hotels and Resorts Pvt. Ltd. is partnering with the Oberoi Group to build The Oberoi Kathmandu, a five-star deluxe hotel in Ravi Bhavan.
Spanning 46.6 ropanis, the hotel will include eight interconnected buildings, 160 beds, parking for 108 cars, and landscaped gardens covering 40 per cent of the land. The project, with an estimated total investment of Rs 13.5 billion (including land costs), is set to begin construction in 2025 and open by 2029.
Rana’s business portfolio includes investments in Sipradi Trading, Sipradi Energy, Himalayan International Energy, Bhotekoshi Power Company, Tara Management, Surya Nepal, and Soalti Group, among others.
