Kathmandu- The Soaltee Westend Resort, built near the renowned religious destination Manakamana Temple has been soft launched on Wednesday.
With an investment of approximately Rs 1 billion, the resort is located about 500 meters from the Manakamana Temple.
Nepal’s prestigious five-star hotel, The Soaltee Kathmandu, has taken over the management of the Manakamana resort as part of its brand expansion strategy.
Developed with the objective of blending religious tourism with high-quality hospitality services, the resort features 51 well-appointed rooms, including suites.
As part of its soft launch 'opening offer,' room rates have been set at Rs 16,000 per night. According to management, the standard rate will be Rs 20,000 per night after formal operations begin.
The resort offers a range of facilities, including a banquet hall, meeting rooms, spa, fitness center, open yoga deck, children’s swimming pool, and a dedicated children’s play area.
Beyond accommodation, the resort has also unveiled plans to promote adventure tourism. In its second phase, activities such as ziplining and ATV rides will be introduced.
Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to visit Betini Community Homestay in Shaheed Lakhan Rural Municipality–2 through a 'Village Guided Tour' program, an initiative expected to support and enhance the income of the local community.
The Soaltee Group currently manages hotels and resorts in Bhairahawa, Pokhara, Birgunj, Chitwan, Manakamana, Itahari, and Nagarkot. The group has invested in several projects while also overseeing their management operations. Expanding beyond Nepal, the brand has also extended its presence into the international market, including Germany.
