Dolakha - The third edition of rock climbing festival is being kicked-off at Sokla valley of Bhimeshwor Municipality-2 from May 3.
The two-day festival is being hosted, aiming to promote Sokla Valley as an adventure tourist spot , said Chair of Sokla Tourism Development Society Arjun Pakhrin.
The rock climbing sites are the cliffs of Sokla and Chakpa, located eight kilometers from the Charikot.
Sokla village is also famous for agro-tourism and ecotourism, offering scenic view of Gaurishankar mountain range and also known for religious study and research.
With Nepal Tourism Board and local bodies sponsor, the Mountain Guide Association of Nepal is providing technical input for the festival.-RSS
