Kathmandu-The U.S Embassy Nepal, in collaboration with Aadyanta Advisory and the American Chamber of Commerce Nepal, convened the second Scaling Innovations Dialogue Series under the Seeding and Scaling Innovations initiative.

Focused on the capabilities and partnerships needed to compete in the global AI and tech economy, the dialogue brought together Americans, Nepalis, and diaspora leaders, including founders, educators, industry experts, investors, and policymakers. The series connects Nepali innovators to United States and global platforms, market opportunities, mentorship, and investment networks to support growth and scale.

In his opening remarks, Public Affairs Chief Mike Harker emphasized the value of United States-Nepal technology partnerships and the importance of investing in people, institutions, and trusted cross-border collaboration.

He highlighted how innovation grounded in transparency and responsible AI can strengthen commercial ties and connect Nepali talent and startups to global markets.

NAAMII shared insights on Nepal’s AI research and skills development, while the AI Center at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology highlighted the role of public institutions in policy alignment and innovation support.

Through expert discussions and collaborative planning, participants identified actionable priorities, effective partnership models, and concrete steps for 2026 to develop globally competitive talent, support startups, and strengthen linkages with U.S. businesses.
