Kathmandu-Nepal’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is projected to grow by 3.68 percent in the current fiscal year, according to the National Statistics Office (NSO).
In its National Accounts GDP Estimates, the NSO stated that the projection is slightly higher than the government’s earlier estimate.
Sector-wise, agricultural growth is expected to remain limited at 1.58 percent, while the non-agriculture sector is projected to expand by 4.54 percent.
Overall growth is likely to remain sluggish, weighed down by first-quarter disruptions and ongoing domestic and external challenges.
