Kathmandu-On the second trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index declined by 6.51 points compared to the previous trading session, closing at 2,724.39 points.
A total of 7.816 million shares of 346 companies were traded 45,519 times during the day’s session, generating a turnover of Rs 3.087 billion.
Among the traded companies, Corporate Development Bank Limited recorded the highest gain of 14.26 percent. In terms of transaction value, City Hotel Limited posted the highest turnover, with shares worth Rs 8235.335 million traded.
Out of the 13 sub-indices, four posted gains while nine declined during the day.
