Surkhet- A total of 11,262 projects from all ministries have been registered in the Karnali Province Project Bank, with 930 currently in process and 10,332 cleared for upcoming implementation.
According to National Planning Commission Vice-Chairman Ashoknath Yogi, provincial policy now dictates that development plans across all 10 districts and 79 municipalities must be routed through thematic local governments to the Provincial Planning Commission before execution.
Among the participating agencies, the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development—which receives and deploys the province's highest budget—has logged 2,062 distinct projects for the coming fiscal year.
In line with standard procedure, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning will publicly release the comprehensive details of these proposed pipeline projects ahead of the official budget speech.-RSS
