Kathmandu-On the third trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 30.08 points compared to the previous trading session, closing at 2,754.48 points.
A total of 10.66 million shares of 346 companies were traded 52,336 times during the day’s session, generating a turnover of Rs 3.82 billion.
Among the traded companies, Upper Lohore Khola Hydropower Company Limited recorded the highest gain of 15 percent.
In terms of transaction value, Corporate Development Bank Limited posted the highest turnover, with shares worth Rs 183.513 million traded.
All 13 sub-indices ended the day in positive territory. The Hotel and Tourism and Hydro sub-indices recorded the highest gains, rising by 1.89 percent during the trading session.
