Kathmandu-The newly-formed Balen-Shah government’s first Cabinet meeting made 100 decisions related to all ministries. The meeting approved various tasks for governance reforms.
Education Minister and spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel stated that the 100 decisions aim to be implemented within 100 days, prioritizing ministries.
Detailed details will be made public later.
The meeting also directed concerned ministries, departments, and agencies to implement the report of the inquiry commission on the ‘Gen-Z Movement’ and pay tribute to the martyrs.
The cabinet meeting, held immediately after Prime Minister Shah’s office, aimed to make policy and program implementation-oriented.
The government says the ‘100 days-100 decisions’ concept has been integrated, moving away from individual decisions and promoting unity.
The Prime Minister’s team coordinated with the Chief Secretary to prepare for the meeting. The Chief Secretary collected agendas from all ministries and approved the Council of Ministers’ proposals.
