Kathmandu-The Economic Survey of the current fiscal year has been unveiled today.
Presenting the economic survey today in the meeting of the House of Representatives, Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle informed the projection of economic growth of 3.9 percent in current fiscal year 2025-26.
Minister Wagle said, 'The overall economic, social, sectoral development and good governance of the federal, provincial and local levels for the entire period of the last fiscal year and up to eight months of the current fiscal year have been depicted and analyzed.'
There is a practice of presenting the Economic Survey before presenting the budget for coming fiscal year.
The survey incorporates the progress achieved in current fiscal year as well as details of the government's performance.
Similarly, details of public entities would also be released today itself.
