Kathmandu- The government has announced plans to prioritize the younger generation by introducing startup-friendly policies.
Unveiling the policies and programmes for the fiscal year 2025–26 in a joint session of Parliament today, President Ramchandra Paudel said, ' To initiate youth-focused start-up programmes, by keeping ‘GenZ’ generation in special priority, ensuring business plans and their ecosystems across all enterprises.'
To manage the shortage of skilled workforce and the surplus of unskilled labor, the government is adopting the policy of 'Entrepreneurship-Friendly Education.
For this, President Paudel said that the government is to comprehensively reform the existing curriculum, learning and pedagogy; to enhance income-generating opportunities by creating domestic employment through entrepreneurship.
