Kathmandu-The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index continued to decline on Thursday, the fourth day of the week, extending losses from the previous session.
The NEPSE benchmark index fell by 17.01 points to close at2,787.15.
The shares of 348 companies were traded 93,907 times, with a total turnover of Rs 5.095 billion.
Palpa Cement Industries Limited and Sikhar Power Development stocks hit the positive circuit limit.
In terms of turnover, Reliance Spinning Mills led the market with transactions worth Rs 304.2 million.
Among the 13 sub-indices, only three posted gains.
