Kathmandu-On the first trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index declined by 1.03 points compared to the previous trading session, closing at 2,730.91 points.
A total of 5.828,million shares of 339 companies were traded 43,309 times during the day’s session, generating a turnover of Rs2.450 billion.
Among the traded companies, Ingwa Hydropower Limited (IHL) recorded the highest gain of 8.42 percent. In terms of transaction value, Sahas Urja Limited posted the highest turnover, with shares worth Rs 84.389 million traded.
Out of the 13 sub-indices five posted gains while seven declined during the day.
