Kathmandu-The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index continued to decline on Wednesday, the third trading day of the week, extending losses from the previous session.
The benchmark index fell by 2.95 points to close at 2,804.17.
The shares of 342 companies were traded 121,433 times, with a total turnover of Rs 7.813 billion.
Palpa Cement Industries Limited stocks hit the positive circuit limit.
In terms of turnover, National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) led the market with transactions worth Rs 413.478 million.
Among the 13 sub-indices, only five posted gains while seven declined.
