Kathmandu-The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index inched up on Monday, by 7.73 points to close at 2,796.43.
The share prices of 157 companies increased, while 102 declined and 10 remained unchanged. The daily turnover also minimal, stood at Rs 4.748 billion.
Three companies: Corporate Development Bank Limited, Palpa Cement Industries Limited and Sikhar Power Development stocks hit the positive circuit limit.
In terms of turnover, Reliance Spinning Mills led the market with transactions worth Rs 307. 455 million.
Among the 13 sub-indices, eight posted gains.
