Kathmandu – Over 3.1 Million Travel via Tribhuvan Airport in first four months of 2025.
From January to April , more than 3.12 million people traveled through Tribhuvan International Airport, according to airport chief Jagannath Niraula. International passengers outnumbered domestic ones during this period.
The airport handled 42,620 flights—10,335 international and 32,285 domestic.
International Travel Tops 1.64 Million
Between January and April, 1,642,100 passengers flew internationally. Of these, 813,660 left Nepal, while 803,343 arrived.

February: 373,534
March: 424,522
April: 457,010
Domestic Travel Reaches 1.48 Million
During the same period, 1,486,364 passengers flew domestically. Kathmandu saw 761,665 departures and 724,708 arrivals.
