Kathmandu-On the fourth trading day of the week, Thursday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE)NEPSE index declined by 13.46 points compared to the previous trading day, closing at 2,766.78 points. In the previous session, the NEPSE had increased by 2.66 points.
In today’s trading, shares of 353 companies were traded. A total of 10,617,883 shares changed hands through 51,601 transactions.
Along with the NEPSE index, the trading turnover also decreased. Today’s total trading amount stood at Rs 4.70 billion, compared to Rs 5.73 billion in the previous trading session.
Shares of Kalinchowk Hydropower Limited were traded at the positive circuit level today.
In terms of trading value, Everest Bank Limited recorded the highest turnover, with shares worth Rs 442.3 million traded.
Among the sector indices, 12 sub-indices declined while only 1 sub-index gained.
The Mutual Fund sub-index increased the most, by 0.32 percent, whereas the Others sub-index fell the most, by 1.71 percent.
