Kathmandu- The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Tuesday experienced a decrease of 26.16 points, closed at 2,674.48 points.
The total turnover for the day was Rs. 4.36 billion, with 10,040,164 shares traded.
Market sentiment was a bearish day, with 239 companies declining, while only 23 advanced and 10 remained unchanged.
Stocks like Taksar Pikhuwa Khola Hydropower Limited and Yambaling Hydropower Limitedare recorded with a 14.99 percent gain, bringing their close price to Rs 396.70.
Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company Ltd leads with a turnover of Rs 341.6 million, while SOPL follows with Rs 189.1 million.
Mutual Fund is the only listed sector shown in green, indicating a gain among 13 sub-indices groups. The Hydropower Index is highlighted with a notable decrease of 1.63 percent.
