Kathmandu- On the second trading day of the week, Tuesday, the Nepal Stock Exchange ( NEPSE) index rose by 22.21 points compared to the previous trading session, closing at 2,777.58 points.
During today's trading, shares of 346 companies were traded. A total of 11.38 million shares (11,383,431 units) changed hands through 61,507 transactions, generating a turnover of Rs 5.26 billion .
Among all stocks, Kalinchok Hydropower Limited recorded the highest gain, trading at the positive circuit limit.
In terms of trading value, Ankhu Khola Jalvidyut Company Limited topped the market, with shares worth Rs 467.6 million traded.
Of the market sub-indices, 12 sector indices advanced, while 1 sector index declined. The Others sub-index posted the highest gain, rising by 3.84 percent.
