Kathmandu-On the first day of the week, Monday,  the NEPSE index declined by 20.27 points to close at 2735.14.  In the previous trading session, the benchmark index had dropped by 11.37 points.

A total of  9,236,677 shares of 356 companies were traded through 56,750  transactions during the day.

Likewise,  the daily turnover decreased  compared to the previous session. Today’s total trading amount reached Rs 4.084 billion, compared to Rs 5.62 billion, recorded in the previous trading session.

Shares of Kalinchowk Hydropower Limited hit the positive circuit level in today’s trading.imilarly, Crest Microlife Insurance has increased by 13.11 percent, Sopan Pharmaceuticals by 9.98 percent, and Community Microfinance by 8.85 percent respectively. 

In terms of turnover, Central Finance  recorded the highest transaction value, with shares worth Rs 203.9 million traded.

Among the sectoral indices, 12  subgroups closed in the red, while only one  subgroups posted gains. The financial sub-sector recorded the highest increase, rising by 2.77 percent.
