Kathmandu-On the last trading day of the week, Thursday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index rose by 6.03 points to reach 2,654.93.
Shares of 335 companies were traded, with a total of 10.053 million shares changed hands. Turnover stood at Rs 4.174 billion.
The sensitive index increased by 0.42 points. Likewise, the float index rose by 0.26 points, whereas the sensitive float index gained 0.40 points.
The share prices of Salpa Bikas Bank, and Reliance Spinning Mills Limited surged by more than 9 percent.
The biggest loss came from 10% Nabil Debenture 2082, which fell by 3.60 per cent.
In terms of turnover, Api Power Company Ltd. recorded transactions worth Rs 326.832 million.
Out of the 13 sub-indices, nine subgroup recorded gains, while four ended in negative territory.
