Kathmandu-On the third trading day of the week, Wednesday, the Nepal Stock Exchange ( NEPSE) index rose by 2.66 points compared to the previous trading session, closing at 2,780.25 points.
During today's trading, shares of 347 companies were traded. A total of 13. 521,million shares changed hands through 62,148 transactions, generating a turnover of Rs 5.738 billion .
Among all stocks, Kalinchock Hydropower Limited recorded the highest gain, trading at the positive circuit limit.
In terms of trading value, Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company topped the market, with shares worth Rs 442.307 million traded.
Of the market sub-indices, seven sector indices advanced, while six sector index declined.
