NEPSE plunges 74.73 points as all sectors end in negative

Kathmandu-The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), which  had rebounded after two-day slump, again plunged by 74.73 points to close at 2,776.36. 

Share prices of only 13 companies increased, while 255 declined. 

Despite the market fall, daily turnover increased to Rs 12.109 billion on Monday, up from Rs  11.11 billion on Tuesday

During Tuesday’s trading session, shares of five companies-Reliance Spinning Mills Limited,  and Bhujung Hydropower Limited, Super Khudi Hydropower Limited,hit the positive circuit limit, gaining the maximum 10 percent.

Himalayan Reinsurance Limited led the turnover with shares worth Rs 713.126 million traded, followed by Api Power Company at Rs 457.216, million.

Meanwhile, all 13 sub-indices ending in the red, where others sector recorded the highest dip at 5.26  percent. 

The market insiders are believing that  market is experiencing a healthy correction or consolidation rather than a reversal of the bull trend, with many anticipating a 'high increase' or a breakout above the  its all-time high of 3,199.03 points, recorded on September 2, 2021.
